Dr Nisha Menon VB is a Consultant in Pediatrics and Neonatology. She did her MBBS from Trichur Medical College and MD pediatrics from Calicut Medical College Kerala(2013). She also did her Fellowship in Neonatology under LAP. She is trained in Basic life support(BLS), Neonatal Advanced Life Support(NALS), Pediatric advanced life support(PALS) and currently is an Instructor in PALS course.
Dr Nisha Menon is skilled in essential newborn care, newborn resuscitation, intensive care of sick newborn(both term and preterm) CPAP,Ventilator care, High Frequency Ventilation, Therapeutic hypothermia, procedures like PICC line insertion, chest tube insertion. She is also officially trained with neonatal point of care ultrasound(NEOPOCUS) which adds to her expertise in doing Ultrasound head, Jung and ECHO in newborn,
She is also skilled in managing critically ill children in PICU with respiratory failure, shock, seizures, encephalopathy, kidney injury, DKA etc
She has worked as a Research scientist at Dept of pediatrics in PGIMER, a medical officer at GMSH16 and as associate consultant at Max hospital Mohali before joining Chaitanya Motherhood hospitals, In addition to her clinical work, Dr Menon has conducted various research projects and has several international publications to her credit. Dr Menon delivers her services with compassion, aiming to achieve not only a cure but also a good quality life for her patients and their family.
