Motherhood Chaitanya Hospital, Chandigarh organized a Diet Awareness Camp at Infosys on 17.8.2017. Through this Camp, Team Chaitanya highlighted the benefits of the good and balanced diet.
During the camp, More than 150 employees were screened by Dr. Neelu Malhotra, Dietician at Motherhood Chaitanya Hospital. Dr. Malhotra said that balanced diet, daily exercise, and active life style are important to maintain good health which helps save a man from a possible attack of different diseases. Poor intake of calcium in the diet leads to fragile and weaker bones and particularly women are more prone to development of obesity, due to insufficient calcium content. She advised people to increase consumption of milk, curd apart from cereals for more calcium intake to ensure better health of bones.
Dr. Neelu Malhotra said that it was a Diet awareness camp which has served the purpose very successfully. She assured the people of the area that such camps would regularly be organized to serve the community. She said the objective of the camp was to create awareness among employee about nutrition and balanced diet.
The employees of Infosys appreciated the efforts of Dr. Neelu Malhotra and Team Chaitanya and hoped that this endeavor will continue in near future also.
