Apparently well 5 years old child went to high altitude (Leh) by flight. Within 8-10 hrs of landing at high altitude child developed breathing difficulty. Over next few hours, child become breathless, her oxygen level in blood went down to very low levels. She was started on ventilator and was shifted to our hospital in air ambulance. Child was treated in our advanced Intensive care unit (PICU) using hi technology monitoring devices.
Gradually her condition improved and discharged in stable condition.
